​Starship SN15

Status: On Pad B
Basic information
SN15 conducted a high altitude flight test similar to SN11's with a successful landing and was the first Starship which landed successfully. It features massive upgrades over SN8 - SN11 according to Elon. It might fly again.

BN1 ist the first prototype of the Superheavy Booster [roughly 70m tall] which is a manufacturing pathfinder.

​Starship SN11 ​

Status: RUD
Basic information
SN11 is the 4th Starship (5th if you count MK1) with a nosecone and control-surfaces. It performed a High Altitude Test Flight, just like SN8, SN9 and SN10 did.

  1. SN11 finished construction and was moved to Suborbital Launch Pad B on March 8 2021
  2. SN11 performed its cryogenic proof test successfully on March 11, 2021

  4. SN11 performed its second static fire test successfully on March 22, 2021
  5. SN11 performed its 10km test flight on March 30, 2021, but fell apart two seconds after flip burn relight. (watch here)

Starship SN10

Status: ​RUD
Basic Information
SN10 is the third Starship (4th if you count MK1) with a nosecone and control-surfaces. It performed a high altitude test flight just like SN8 and SN9 did.

  1. SN10 finished construction and was moved to Suborbital Launch Pad A on January 29, 2021
  2. ​SN10 performed its cryogenic proof test successfully on February 8, 2021
  3. SN10 performed its first static fire test unsuccessfully on February 23, 2021 (One Raptor Engine had to be swapped out)
  4. SN10 performed its second static fire test successfully on February 25, 2021

Starship SN9

Status: RUD
Basic information
SN9 is the second Starship (3th if you count MK1) with a nosecone and control-surfaces. It performed a high altitude test flight, similar to SN8's. Explodes on touchdown, because one of one Raptor failed to reignite (overcorrected the flip maneuver).

Starship SN8

Basic Information
SN8 is the first Starship (2nd if you count MK1) with a nosecone and control surfaces. It performed a high altitude test flight (12.5km). It was lost due to a pressure drop in the methane header tank.

Starhopper

Status: Retired [On the Launch Pad]
Basic Information
Starhopper was the first Starship prototype. It was used to gain experience with the new Raptor engines and the stainless steel alloy, so they performed two flight tests. Starhopper is still on the Launch Site. (Its nose cone collapsed due to high winds).
